Optional enhancements allow you to tailor your EZ Cover™ Pergola to your space and lifestyle, including reinforced roller blinds for added privacy or wind protection, available in matching grey or alternative colours on request. Glass sliding doors with 10 mm tempered safety glass can be added to create a secure, enclosed garden room suitable for year-round use. Intelligent wind and rain sensors automatically close the roof in adverse conditions, while ultra-low glare infrared heaters extend comfort into cooler evenings. Additional options include extra-height corner posts for swim spa installations and a choice of alternative RAL colours for both the aluminium frame and side screens.
In most cases, planning permission is not required to install an EZ Cover™ Pergola. However, certain regulations may apply. If the pergola is positioned within 2 metres of a property boundary, it must not exceed 2.5 metres in height. Planning permission may also be required if your property is a listed building, located within a conservation area, or if more than half of the land surrounding the original house is already covered by garden structures.

The EZ Cover™ Pergola requires assembly, and we recommend installation is carried out by our nationwide team of professional installers. Alternatively, for confident DIY installation, we advise a minimum of 2–3 people to safely lift and assemble the structure. Typical installation time is approximately 4 hours, depending on the specification ordered. Expansion bolts are supplied as standard to securely fix the pergola to the ground.
